Police in Scotland have released their latest quarterly report that shows human trafficking and exploitation cases are at their highest across the country.

Speaking on the anniversary of the Slavery Abolition Act coming into force on 1 August 1834 Ross Hendry, CEO of Christian charity CARE, said:

In order to stop women being trafficked into prostitution, Home Office Minister Sarah Dines, wants to see the practice of paying for sex outlawed.
