The UK's largest abortion provider, BPAS, is pushing for an amendment to be tabled to the UK Government’s Domestic Abuse Bill, to further change abortion law in England and Wales.

If successful, the law would change and the last remaining legal protections around unborn babies would disappear up to 28 weeks.

Extreme abortion law change will hurt, not help, women and babies

We strongly support the Domestic Abuse Bill which addresses significant issues of domestic violence and will help save lives. However, to use the Bill to try and force through radical abortion law changes would be a terrible mistake. Not only would it take up valuable parliamentary time and distract from the issue of domestic abuse, it would also endanger women and unborn babies.

Take Action and stand with us

Please consider emailing your MP and asking them to resist any abortion amendment to the Domestic Abuse Bill. We’ve put together a guide on how to respond on our website.
