50 days to stop radical abortion laws being imposed on NI

Abortion
7 August 2019
NI Assembly 0 5

After Westminster voted to change the existing, life-affirming law on abortion in Northern Ireland, the only way of preventing the change is if the Assembly is restored. But the clock is ticking and there are only 50 days left before the 21 October deadline.

CARE NI is aware of several events taking place this week and we wanted to flag them up. The more people who can attend the better. We will endeavour to keep this page updated as we find out more.

September 2: St Annes Prayer Event - For the Soul of the Nation

For those of you who pray, there is a prayer event taking place on September 2 at St Anne's Cathedral, Belfast at 8.00pm. This has been endorsed by a host of different groups and Christians from any denominational background are most welcome to attend. You can find details of the event here.

September 6: voiceless protest at Stormont

The NI Voiceless Protest is being held on September 6 at 7.00pm at the Northern Ireland Assembly. If you are on Twitter or Facebook you can find the campaign at @NIvoiceless. We are hoping for thousands to attend. This has the potential to be a big moment. For more information, do check out the Facebook event here.
