Last Monday, 14 December the Government was questioned over plans to reform Sunday trading laws. When pressed, the Minister Baroness Neville-Rolfe suggested that the Government is first considering consultation responses before determining the way forward.
This is encouraging in the sense that it deviates from the Prime Minister’s stated position on Sunday Trading when on 21 October he stated the Government had made a final decision and would bring forward an amendment to give effect to its proposals Please continue to pray that the Government will drop these proposals which would have an adverse effect on the family. If you have not done so already, please take a few minutes and write to your MP here.
