Take Action: Down Syndrome Bill

On Friday 26 November, the Down Syndrome Bill, introduced by Liam Fox MP, has its Second Reading in the House of Commons. This important legislation will make provision about meeting the needs of people with Down syndrome and will place a duty on local authorities to assess the likely social care needs of people with Down syndrome and plan accordingly. The Government has signaled it will support the Bill, but to keep them honest, it's important MPs also vote in favour of this legislation. Our new email function makes it quick and easy to send a message to your MP.
