Staff Comments on working at CARE

We asked a few of our colleagues to sum up what they like about working for CARE:

'It is a real blessing to work alongside a group of caring and passionate people and to be encouraged in my work by the love and generosity of supporters.'

'I moved to London to find a job. And I found a family; a group of people who genuinely look out for each other.'

'CARE provides a professional environment where kingdom values and gritty public policy come together.  It is very satisfying to be amongst a team of experts, with a long history of being salt & light, giving it their all on issues they care passionately about.'

'It's a real privilege and honour to be a part of CARE's exciting work for the Kingdom. It's such a blessing to be able to pray together as a team on a weekly basis. We have great visionary leaders to look up to who are supportive and inspirational.'

'I look forward to coming into work in the morning, which says it all.'

Volunteer For Us

man smiling, on the telephone, looking out of the windowWe deeply appreciate the commitment and servant-heartedness of those who offer up their spare time to volunteer for CARE. Some of our volunteers have been helping us from time to time for years and have built up strong working relationships with members of staff across the UK. These individuals are considered an integral part of the CARE team and are highly-valued by the departments that they support. We thank God for all our volunteers, past and present, who have come alongside CARE to make a Christian difference.

Volunteering opportunities at CARE are usually based at one of our offices in London, Glasgow or Belfast, although occasionally volunteer work may be carried out from home. Our need for volunteers fluctuates, depending upon the projects we are focusing on at the time; therefore we may not always have a suitable opportunity available at an office convenient to you.

If you would like to be added to our books and contacted, should suitable volunteer work arise at CARE, please complete the Volunteer Form and send it to: recruit@care.org.uk
