CARE Launches New Resource To Help Voters Get To Know Their Candidates For The General Election

Monthly archive

With only 30 days to go until the General Election, CARE has launched a website to equip and inspire Christians across the UK to get out and vote on June 8th.

engaGE17 is packed full of key resources which will help people choose who to cast their vote for on Election Day.

CARE’s Public Policy team, who maintain a constant presence in Westminster have written up-to-date briefings on key issues under the themes of family, life and justice. They contain the latest information on issues such as human trafficking, abortion and assisted suicide plus questions for candidates to help voters engage more proactively with politicians on their doorsteps.

engaGE17 will be regularly updated in the run up to the election with party manifestos once they’ve been released and also MPs voting record on crucial votes in parliament that have happened since the last election. There will also be an interactive live blog on a range of issues and themes relating to the election.

CARE’s UK Director, Gareth Davies

engaGE17 is packed full of resources that will help Christians prepare to vote on June 8th”

“CARE hopes engaGE17 will inspire Christians to find out more about the candidates standing in their areas. We encourage voters to think and pray through important issues, start conversations with others and to make their voice heard by casting their vote”
