This evening, members of the Northern Ireland Assembly (MLAs) will debate a motion rejecting abortion to birth for all non-fatal disabilities. The motion reads as follows:

‘That this Assembly welcomes the important intervention of disability campaigner Heidi Crowter and rejects the imposition of abortion legislation which extends to all non-fatal disabilities, including Down's syndrome.’
Motion in the name of Paul Givan MLA, Joanne Bunting MLA, Ms Michelle McIlveen MLA and Ms Pam Cameron MLA

A Prayer for MLAs as they debate abortion to birth

We want to pray for tonight's debate, that MLAs will vote in favour of the motion and a clear, life-affirming message will be sent out.
